Yes, we require a non-refundable deposit of RM250 (or 30% of the total cost for larger pieces), depending on your quote.

This can be paid by cash, bank transfer, or e-wallet during your consultation at the studio or via online banking/Stripe (an additional fee applies to Stripe transactions).

A good breakfast is highly recommended, and too much alcohol the night before is not a good idea, as this can thin the blood. Please be aware we will not tattoo anyone under the influence of drink or drugs.

We will shave the tattoo area for you; please do not do this yourself.

Designs are ready to view during your appointment, with plenty of time to make changes with your artist before it is tattooed. Sizes and orientation can all be adjusted on the day, too.

We do not recommend using numbing cream. This can make the skin more difficult to tattoo and sometimes affect how it heals. Once it has worn off, there is often a greater level of pain experienced.

The areas of the body that we do not tattoo are the sides of the fingers/palms, the inner lip, and the soles of the feet. These areas are challenging to heal and prone to dropouts and blowouts.

We do not tattoo in white ink alone as this tends to turn an off-white yellowy colour over time.

We can tattoo the tops of hands, necks and faces. However, these would require a consultation.

Please be aware that our artists will not directly copy another artist’s design. However, we are willing to take inspiration from certain pieces and create your original version.

We have an RM250 minimum and generally quote on size and detail. Depending on the artist, we work at an RM200-RM250 an hour rate for larger, more detailed pieces.

We can often indicate the price over messaging app/email, but your artist will provide a quote during your consultation for more extensive work.

Depending on your quote, we require deposits to hold appointments, which are RM250 (or 30% of the total cost for larger pieces).

Exercise is fine as long as the area is not knocked. Contact sports, such as Basketball, are generally not advised until fully healed due to the risk of knocking off scabs. Swimming is not advised for at least three weeks. After exercise, wash the area with warm water and pH-balanced soap.

We recommend at least three weeks before exposing a fresh tattoo to sun/ sea/swimming. This is due to the risk of poor healing and infection.

It is always best to wait until after a holiday before having a new tattoo.

Your artist will explain how they would like you to care for your tattoo; this can vary piece by piece.

Generally, we recommend doing the following:

  • Remove your dressing after 2-3 hours (unless otherwise advised by your artist). We recommend rewrapping your tattoo overnight for the first night. Then, in the morning, clean your tattoo with warm, soapy water and pat dry.
  • Wash your tattoo with clean hands, using warm soapy water. Rinse the area with cold water and pat dry.
  • Normal showering is fine. Just do not soak your tattoo or rub it with a towel.
  • Apply Bepanthen cream 2-3 times daily until your tattoo is healed. (Unless otherwise advised by your artist). Do not allow your tattoo to dry out.
  • Your tattoo will scab while it is healing. Do not pick at the flakes, as this can cause the colour to be pulled out.
  • Avoid swimming or suntanning until your tattoo has healed.
  • Apply a high SPF sunblock for the life of your tattoo to prevent fading.
